The Svart edition of III Tri-logy comes with a 20 page booklet which consists of both the original CD booklet material and new, unseen stuff such as new liner notes by band biographer Puustinen, track-by-track commentary by the band members and previously unreleased photos.

The album comes in a gatefold jacket, which is housed in a transparent plastic slipcase.
