However, the dazzling, dizzying variety on Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie almost makes Jagged seem tame. The album contains a crazy quilt of styles and themes and is an album that more than succeeded in its task to uphold Alanis’s reputation after the huge star-making pop culture phenomenon of her worldwide debut release.
